But just so that, you know, just because you apply for a standard rate if you come in, prefer the insurance company will give you the rates so they long as you hit there you meet the criteria for that rate class. They're not going to try and put you into a standard. They don't do that."

"It's in their best interests or tried to give you the best rate, so you'll pay the premiums longer. That's how they meet their money. So we're just gonna do standard tobacco. Uh, now, listen, Uh, uh, marijuana cannabis is considered tobacco rates. Okay, If you've got a history of tobacco, just be honest."

"Excuse me in your doctor's records in your MIB. I mean, you know, So, you know, just don't train line, because if they catch it, um, you're gonna get rated for it anyway. So just be upfront and honest with your tobacco usage. You can always come back into a rate reduction on your policy after you quit any kind of tobacco."

"So, just know that and height and weight always is something up front that we can use to make sure we're quoting you correctly. And then lastly, we'll just put in like, uh, this is not my real date of birth, but it's close. Okay, Now, here is where you can get a little confused. Up here we have our term life tab, which is blue."

What Counts As Tobacco?

Tobacco is a plant that is widely used for its nicotine content. Nicotine is a highly addictive substance that stimulates the central nervous system, and it is found in all parts of the tobacco plant. Tobacco products come in many different forms, including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, chewing tobacco, and snuff.

The use of tobacco has been linked to a wide range of health problems, including lung cancer, heart disease, stroke, and respiratory problems. In many countries, tobacco use is highly regulated, and various laws have been enacted to restrict its use and sale.

But what products count as smoking when it comes to life insurance? Here are the most common types of tobacco products that life insurance companies classify as smoking:

  1. Cigarettes: The most well-known tobacco product is cigarettes, and it is the most commonly used form of tobacco worldwide. Life insurance companies consider anyone who smokes cigarettes, regardless of the frequency, a smoker.
  2. Cigars: Smoking cigars is often perceived as a luxury hobby rather than a habit, but it is still classified as smoking by life insurance companies. Cigar smokers may be charged higher premiums compared to cigarette smokers, depending on how frequently they smoke and the number of cigars smoked.
  3. Pipes: Smoking pipes is less common than smoking cigarettes and cigars, but it is still classified as smoking by most insurance companies. As with cigars, pipe smokers may be charged higher premiums depending on the frequency and quantity smoked.
  4. E-cigarettes and vaping: E-cigarettes and vaping have become increasingly popular in recent years, and many people see it as a safer alternative to traditional cigarettes. However, life insurance companies still consider e-cigarette and vaping users as smokers, as there is limited research on the long-term health effects of these products.
  5. Chewing tobacco: Chewing tobacco is another form of tobacco use that is classified as smoking by life insurance companies. It is a prevalent form of tobacco use among athletes and is often used as a substitute for smoking.

It is essential to note that not all life insurance companies will have the same policies on what constitutes smoking. Some insurers may differentiate between occasional and regular smokers or have specific guidelines on the amount of tobacco use. Therefore, it is crucial to shop around and compare policies to find the most affordable and comprehensive life insurance policy that meets your needs.

Banner Life Insurance has been around for a long time. They do a great job, but I wanted to see something.
So exam, they're gonna have you go through, uh, in underwriting exam. Now it's possible. And that's for $98.00. Now, down here, you see Principle and SBLI and John Hancock. It says no exam. Now what? This means we'll click on principle. Okay. What this means is based on a phone interview, you may or may not have to go through an exam.

Depends on your answers. I can't tell you what hit the right or the wrong is with the right or wrong. Answers are too knee gate, the exam. But this is a good option. If you don't want to go through a full, uh, you know matter, it's a medical exam with a nurse and they will draw blood and urine. They ask you a bunch of health questions as well.

So for a couple of pennies more, I would go principle. Good company. They've been around for a long time there a rated. But that's just me. There again. So, you know, great company. But I'd probably go with Principal Life Insurance in this scenario and hope that based upon my underwriting questions, I don't need an exam.

So anyway, that's how easy it is to get quotes online down here. You can change it to 500,000. You can lower that to see and then just rerun your quote. So let's say you just need 250,000. Just rerun your quote. This will be for 20 years. Now we're looking at about $52 month and with Principal, about 52.00 monthly and I would go with this quote.

They do a great job. Well, that is Boise's term life insurance quotes online. Right from the comfort of your home, with no agent to pester you! No agents to hassle you or, uh make you feel pressured into buying any kind of insurance. I think everyone does know, you know if you need it or not, and it just comes down to being ready to purchase it.
