Mutual Of Omaha Whole Life Insurance

Whole life insurance is a type of permanent life insurance coverage

It is designed to provide protection for you and your family by locking in the death benefits that can help pay for end-of-life expenses,

Also, the policy may build cash value that can be accessed in an emergency.

Whole life is available for people aged 45-85 (in NY, ages 50-75) only.

Whole life insurance coverage could be a good fit for you and your family if you:

Need coverage that doesn’t require a medical exam or health questions

Have a tight budget or fixed income and need a premium that won’t increase

Need coverage for burial, funeral, or other final expenses, or to pay off debts

Would like to supplement existing insurance coverage

Want to build cash value and have access to funds in an emergency

What is included in the Mutual Of Omaha Whole Life Final Expense Policy?

Guaranteed coverage that lasts for the rest of your life* with no medical exam

Premiums that are guaranteed not to increase

Potential cash value that grows on a tax-deferred

 ** basis

A set benefit to be paid to your designated beneficiaries at your death

Some factors that affect price are the current age, gender, and death benefit amount. Health and tobacco use are not considered.

The big issue to consider with these types of plans is the graded death benefit during the first two years of the policy. See below

A Whole Life Guaranteed policy also includes a graded death benefit. If death occurs from natural causes (not accidental) during the policy's first two years, the beneficiary will receive all premiums you paid plus 10 percent. Once the two year period ends, the beneficiary will receive the policy's full benefit. Full death benefits will be paid if death results from an accidental injury.
